If you’re in Uluwatu with kids, Ulu Garden is one of those rare spots that truly works for the whole family. It’s a place you can enjoy together without feeling like you’ve traded your delicious meal for a kids’ menu and a box of crayons. The open-air seating is spacious and safe for little ones to wander, the food is fresh and wholesome, and the atmosphere is always welcoming.
What makes Ulu Garden extra special is how they weave in Bali’s cultural side every week, so you don’t have to miss out just because you’ve got kids along. Daytimes are perfect for a coffee break or relaxed meal while the children play in the Little Tribe Corner (open daily 11am–2pm). On Saturdays, the Little Tribe Kitchen at 11am gives kids the chance to roll up their sleeves and cook.
By evening, the garden completely transforms, with cultural nights every Tuesday and Thursday, and live music on the other nights (from 7pm). It’s one of the easiest, most enjoyable places to relax as a family while still soaking up the best of Uluwatu.
It’s also a wonderful spot for big family dinners or group gatherings. They even offer a special group menu, making it simple to share dishes and enjoy a stress-free evening where everyone — from toddlers to grandparents — feels included.
